Choco-Banana Treat



Dessert: Brandy Cake

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate Sponge Cake
  • 2 Spoons Brandy (Alcohol)
  • Strawberry Syrup
  • Banana Chip or Waffers
  • Sprite

Procedure:

  • Put onto a saucer a slice of Chocolate Sponge cake.
  • Pour 2 T-spoons of brandy (alcohol).
  • Add 1 T-spoon of rasberry or strawberry syrup.
  • Let the sponge cake soak up with the above mentioned.
  • Crush banana chips and spinkle around the cake and saucer.
  • Add sprite into the saucer, let the banana chips get soaked in the sprite.
  • Put into the Freezer for 10 minutes, once done, serve chilled.

Hot & Spicy Shell Fish




Dish: Hot & Spicy Shell Fish


Ingredients:

  • Shell Fish (Goans call it Tisrya, East-Indians call it Tisri)
  • Hot Garlic Sauce - 2 T-Spoons
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 2 T-Spoons
  • Green Tobasco Sauce - 2 T-Spoons
  • Half a spoon Oil for frying
  • Green Kotmiri leaves
  • Dry masala vatana sheng
  • Pinch of salt
  • Mini Dinner roll or Mini Burger Bread

Procedure:

  • Clean your shell fish well before cooking. Remove all dirt.
  • Extract flesh from the shell. Throw away the shells.
  • On a slowflame, heat oil on a pan.
  • Add in the shellfish. (I have added 7-8 pieces)
  • To this add 2 T-Spoons of each of the following sauces, Hot Garlic sauce, Green Tobasco sauce & Red Chilli sauce. All these sauces are available in Paste formats in the local market. Saves you the time of actually preparing a masala puri.
  • Mix and Fry for 4-5 minutes the shell fish and the sauces. Add a pinch of salt & few kotmiri leaves while mixing.
  • Serve on a dish. You can add in baby corn or masala sheng as per yur prefernce.
  • Goes well with Pao, Bread roll or Burger bread/buns.

Choco Papaya Mash



Dessert: Choco Papaya Mash

Ingredients:

  • One 5-Star chocolate bar
  • Sweet Cabbage & Carrot shreds
  • One Papaya Slice
  • Mangola (Soft-Drink - 4 spoons)
  • Cherry for Yoke Effect
Procedure:
  • Cut fine tiny slits at equal distance from each other on the 5-Star bar surface.
  • Add shreds of sweet Cabbage & Carrot in alternate cuts on the bar surface.
  • Insert 5-Star bar for 10 secs into the microwave.The chocolate bar is now soft due to heat and the shreds of cabbage & carrot seep into the slits/cuts madein the start on the 5-Star bar surface.
  • Mash a Papaya slice. This is to serve and give the dessert a mashed egg appearance.
  • Put a cherry, which will serve as an egg Yoke.
  • Around the 5-Star & Papaya mash, pour in 3-4 spoons of chilled Mangola juice to make it look as if the egg yoke has spread. The Hot & Cold combo serves as a treat.

Super Dolly


Beverage: Super Dolly


Ingredients:


  • 1 Choco Duet Ice-Cream Candy (Stick) - preferrably Amul Choco Duet.
  • 1/4 Glass milk.
  • 1 T-Spoon Orange Syrup.
  • 1 Crushed Biscuit (Good-Day) or any bicuit of your choice.
  • Masala Waffer or any Waffer Biscuit of your choice.

Procedure:

  • 1 Choco Duet Ice-Cream Candy - melt it in a cup in a Microwave for 30 secs.
  • Add 1/4 glass of cold milk to the chocolate/Cream paste which is hot.
  • Crush a single biscuit into crumbs.
  • Add 1/2 the proportion of crumbs in a glass.
  • Add the Milk/Chocolate/Cream mixture into the glass over the 1st crumb layer.
  • Add Orange Syrup (concentrate) a T-Spoon for flavour.
  • On top of this all add in the remaining biscuit crumbs.
  • Add a salted/masala waffer for flavour topping.

Scrambled Missal



Dish: Scrambled Missal



Ingredients:



  • 3 Eggs

  • Pinch of Garam Masala

  • Pinch of Salt

  • 1 Cheese Cube

  • Shredded Onions

  • Handful Farsan (Ghatiya)

  • Shezwan Sauce

  • 1 Chakli

Procedure:



  • Scramble 3 Eggs along with a single Cheese cube.
  • Add a pinch of Salt.
  • Add a pinch of Garam Masala (I prefer East Indian bottle masala).
  • Once scrambled, Mix with Schezwan sause.

  • Shreds of Onion need to be cut & mixed with the egg & schezwan.

  • Add Chakli or Farsan of your choice for crunch effect.
